EPS Parts 1/2/3: 40-hrs, Unarmed Skills Training Course
This program is the complete 40-hours BSIS Guard Card course. It comprises all of Parts 1, 2 & 3. Each section must be completed according to the time schedule mandated by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.

NOTE:   Certificates and forms are issued in two (2) packets. 1) Part 1 certificate and forms. 2) the complete 40-hours certificate. If you want a certificate of completion for each Part, buy the individual courses.

The coursework is comprised of eleven (11) lessons:

 

Part 1

  • Lesson 01, Power to Arrest
  • Lesson 02, Weapons of Mass Destruction and Terrorism Awareness

Part 2

  • Lesson 3, Public Relations (Community & Customer)
  • Lesson 4, Observation and Documentation
  • Lesson 5, Advanced Arrest, Search & Seizure
  • Lesson 6, Trespass

Part 3

  • Lesson 7, Communication and its Significance
  • Lesson 8, Liability/Legal Aspects
  • Lesson 9, Handling Difficult People
  • Lesson 10, Chemical Agents
  • Lesson 11, Preserving the Incident Scene

The student has 270-days (9-months) to complete the training.
