About me

Hey! Planning your trip to Brazil? That’s amazing! 🇧🇷 If you’re from the United States, it’s important to know How long can I stay in Brazil as a US citizen?. Let’s make it easy to understand.

As a U.S. citizen, if you’re using a Brazil eVisa, you can usually stay in Brazil for up to 90 days per visit. That’s about three months. And guess what? If you want to stay longer, you might be able to extend your stay once — for another 90 days — by visiting the local immigration office in Brazil.

So in total, you could enjoy Brazil for up to 180 days in a year, but not all at once. You’ll need to leave and come back if your visa and rules allow.

💡Important: Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months when you enter Brazil, and you should have proof of your return ticket and stay plans.

If you’re unsure or need help, I’m here anytime to guide you! ✈️😊
