EPS Parts 1/2/3: 40-hrs, Unarmed Skills Training Course
This program is the complete 40-hours BSIS Guard Card course. It comprises all of Parts 1, 2 & 3. Each section must be completed according to the time schedule mandated by the State of California Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
EPS: 2022 Annual Unarmed Refresher Course
To provide additional or remedial instruction in private security subject matter. The continuing education requirement, of an additional 8 hours annually pursuant to Business and Professions Code Section 7583.6(f) (1), commenced on January 5, 2005.
EPS: Chemical Agents (Stand Alone)
NOTE: This course is offered as part of the Complete 40-hour BSIS course and Part 3, 16-hour course as Lesson 10.
This is the stand alone course for adding the qualification to carry tear gas/pepper spray. Enroll in this course only if you already hold a BSIS Guard Card and wish to add Tear Gas/Pepper Spray qualification.
EPS: Customer Relations
This optional course specifically focuses on establishing and maintaining good customer relations.
EPS: Introduction to Fire Patrol
At the conclusion of this lesson, the student will better understand fire, be able to recognize common fire safety hazards, and know to safely take action in the event of a fire. The student will also learn what action to take to correct a fire-life condition, or if the problem cannot be corrected, be able to effectively report a potentially serious life-safety issue.
