Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have actually been taken by Department of Health officials throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was talked to by department officers about illegally importing and subsequently providing unlicensed via the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medicine offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement office, Peter Moore, said: “It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
“These types of items being sold, normally online, have gone through no quality control and there can be no warranty about their safety.
“You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this might have on your health.”
